Ginger Signs Of A New Hotel In Coimbatore, India

Dusit International Opens a New Hotel Nairobi, Kenya

Ginger continues its expansion in southern India with the signing of a new hotel in Coimbatore. The hotel will be located in Avinashi Road with convenient access to the Coimbatore International Airport and the commercial centre of the city.

Ms. Deepika Rao, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Ginger Hotels, said:

“This development is in line with the brand’s growth strategy of expanding its presence in metros and key commercial hubs across India. Coimbatore is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu and a major industrial centre. We are delighted to partner with Geetha Kumar’s Hospitality & Healthcare Private Limited for the hotel.”

Ginger Coimbatore will be designed around the brand’s luxe design and will feature 72 rooms, Café Etcetera, a bar, a fitness centre, a banquet facility, and a meeting room. The hotel will be one of the 17 hotels owned in Tamil Nadu by Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), including four under development. In total, Ginger has the presence of 82 hotels across 52 cities, being 27 hotels still under development.
