Tapestry Collection by Hilton opens new hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Hilton has opened the first hotel of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in South America. Located in the greater São Paulo region, in Brazil, the Almenat Hotel enables Hilton to provide the best of both worlds to travelers who are looking for a unique experience.
Jorge Giannattasio, Hilton’s senior vice president and head of operations, Caribbean and Latin America, said:
“We are thrilled to continue our growth throughout Latin America with the opening of Almenat Hotel, our first Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Brazil. Brazil remains a focus in our company’s regional expansion and we look forward to further increasing our in-market portfolio with the upcoming arrival of eight hotels in the next four years.”
Almenat Hotel is only 21 miles from downtown São Paulo and is surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest and minutes away from Embu das Artes, a town founded by the Jesuits in 1554. The hotel offers 138 guestrooms, with king-size or twin beds, and features a fully equipped gym, tennis court, two soccer fields, one multi-sport court, indoor heated and outdoor pools, and a walking trail amid the Atlantic Forest. In addition, there are a bowling alley with eight lanes and a bar with a fireplace and pool tables. Almenat Hotel is also pet-friendly and offers outdoor space for animals up to 75 pounds.
