Hyatt Hotels Corporation opens new hotel in Houston, Texas
Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Prism Hotels & Resorts have announced the opening of a new hotel in Houston, Texas. The opening of Hyatt Regency Houston West marks a full-circle moment as the property originally opened as a Hyatt Regency hotel in the early 1980s. The hotel is owned by L+R Hotels and managed by Prism Hotels & Resorts.

Located on Katy Freeway within Houston’s Energy Corridor, the hotel features 400 rooms, including 44 suites. Hyatt Regency Houston West is surrounded by a two-acre lake and has a water garden in the atrium lobby. The hotel proposes three food & beverage options- a restaurant, Café on the Lake, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, Black Gold Bar in the lobby, and a coffee market known as Over The Counter.
In addition, there are a total of 25 meeting rooms with 25,000 square feet of space including the 9,800 square-foot Texas Ballroom. The hotel also features a fitness center, an outdoor heated swimming pool and a whirlpool.
