ADIF launches tender process for hotel development
ADIF, the Spanish state-owned railway infrastructure manager, has launched the tender for the development, construction and operation of a new hotel at the María Zambrano railway station in Malaga city.
The hotel will be developed on an area of about 3,000 square meters next to the María Zambrano high speed train station. The project will be developed on a design build operate and maintain (DBOM) basis, while the concession period will be 30 years.
The total project investment is estimated at € 9.8 million.

ADIF is a Spanish state-owned railway infrastructure manager under the responsibility of the Ministry of Development, charged with the management of most of Spain's railway infrastructure, that is the track, signaling and stations. It was formed in 2005 in response to European Union requirements to separate the natural monopoly of infrastructure management from the competitive operations of running train services.
