Eurostars Hotels opens Eurostars Porto Douro

WTTC research reveals Travel & Tourism sectors contribution to UK GDP slumped a shocking GBP148 billion in 2020

The Barcelona-based Eurostars Hotels company, a subsidiary fully owned by the Hotusa Group, has recently announced the opening of its fourth establishment in the city of Porto, Portugal, the Eurostars Porto Douro 4*.

Eurostars Porto Douro 4* is a boutique hotel with classical Portuguese architecture, which in total posses 59 rooms. Additionally it is located next to the Douro River and Dom Luís I Bridge. The asset also counts with a bar, parking and three meeting halls for small professional events.

Besides the newly announced hotel the company also manages other three hotels in the city of Porto the Eurostars Heroismo 4*, the Eurostars Oporto 4* and the Eurostars Das Artes 4*. 

According to soruces, President of Grupo Hotusa Amancio López Seijas, said:

"Eurostars Porto Douro 4* expands our presence in a city to which we have been firmly committed for the past 10 years. And for good reason, it was the first destination in Portugal to be home to an establishment from our hotel division."

The presence of the Eurostars Hotel in Portugal will continue further increasing over the coming months with, among others, a 5* museum hotel with 89 rooms in the historical Palácio dos Condes de Coculim and a 4* hotel with 101 rooms in Cascais.
